Cafe Jindo - Kenya - Lost in Your Currant Coffee Beans
Cafe Jindo's Lost in Your Currant comes from the Gatina washing station in Nyeri, Kenya, where 790 smallholder farmers collectively cultivate 142 hectares of coffee. The coffee undergoes traditional Kenyan processing with a three-disc pulper, overnight fermentation using fresh mountain water from Mt. Kenya and the Aberdares, and 7 to 15 days of drying on raised beds with frequent turning and careful temperature management. This washed lot features Batian, SL-34, SL-28, and Ruiru 11 varietals grown above 1,800 meters, delivering the bright, complex character that makes Kenyan coffee a specialty standard.
